This notice explains how Gaman Succession Ltd (“Gaman Succession”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data about business owners, advisers, investors and anyone else who contacts us or whom we contact about a potential acquisition. We keep it short and in plain language.
Who we are
Gaman Succession Ltd is the controller of your personal data. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 15459916, with our registered office at Unit 21, Fulham Broadway Centre, Fulham Road, London SW6 1BW, United Kingdom. What we collect
- Contact details: your name, job title, company, email address, phone number and LinkedIn profile.
- Our correspondence: emails, messages and notes of meetings or calls with you.
- Business information: information about your company that you share with us or that is publicly available, which may include details about you as an owner or director.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it to us.
Where it comes from
Mostly from you, when you contact us or reply to us. We also use publicly available sources, such as company registers, company websites and LinkedIn, and professional data providers, to identify companies that may fit what we look for and the people who own or run them.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your data to respond to you, to explore whether your company could be a fit for an acquisition, to carry out and complete a transaction, and to keep in touch with founders, advisers and investors. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interests in finding, evaluating and completing an acquisition and in running our business. Where we need to keep information to meet a legal obligation, we rely on that obligation.
Who we share it with
- Our investors and professional advisers (such as lawyers, accountants and M&A advisers), when needed to assess or complete a transaction, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Service providers that host our email, files, contact database and outreach tools on our behalf, under contracts that protect your data.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We never sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK and the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where your data is transferred, we rely on recognised safeguards, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as it is useful for the purposes above, normally for the duration of our search and any resulting transaction, and review it regularly. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep only a minimal record so that we respect that request.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to our use of it, or to transfer it. You can also ask us at any time to stop contacting you. Write to info@gaman-succession.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK, or to the data protection authority in your country.
This website
This website does not use cookies or tracking for advertising or analytics. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site securely. The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
